Perspective Drawing

Landscape Drawing

Artist Satement:

I don't have a lot of experience with drawing.  I went to a Elemenary school where we only had art 1-2 times a week. I really did like art and making things my own. I feel I did a very good job on this project. When we were showed the examples. I was amazing and thought I couldn't do more than a stick figure. I was really happy with the outcome of my drawing. It reminds me of my Grandmas. She played a huge role in my life and she still does everyday. It reminded me of her house. I drew a picture of a old photograph and I was just shocked and kind ofnervous that I actually made something by hand with a pencial. That actually looks like a old house. My mom pointed it out that it is kindof slanted because of the all the earthquakes.

Artist Statement:

I drew a valley with a lake because it reminded me not of aspecific place but a spicific thought. My dad and I used to go fishing alot when I was very little. I grew up in  the outdoors. Rain or shine. Mud or sand. I loved being with my dad and doing things we liked. We usedto go everywhere to fish and I didn't want to get to specific with where it was. I wanted to combine all the memories in onebecause I didn't have a favorite. My one and only favorite was being with my dad eating those sour gummy worms and sitting in silence and laughing because it was quiet.

Artist Statement:

I drew a random girl who looks confused and lost but happy. I chose it because it was kind of mysterious like the mona lisa. She looks like she could be anyone but she's alone and by herself. She looks kind of sassy in a way. Her lip is like a sad. smile. smirk. She is just a random high schooler with the tumblr clothes and the mysteriousness of her actions and emotions.
